Marketing Executive, UK & Europe

We are looking for a talented Marketing Executive responsible for supporting the European Marketing and Distribution team at Sony Entertainment Network. You will report into the Marketing and Distribution Manager and have a split responsibility across the team.

Responsibilities:

  • Developing advertising campaigns for new shows and movies from conceptualisation to liaising with creative teams in the delivery of a final campaign.
  • Supporting the advertising team by implementing campaigns for radio, print, outdoor and online to drive the growth of subscription.
  • Working closely with the Sales and Broadcast teams in creating new marketing initiatives.
  • Researching new business opportunities for the potential growth of the network.
  • Creating Microsoft PowerPoint presentations to aid in the pitching for new business and marketing opportunities.
  • Overseeing ground event led promotional activities from small weekend initiatives to large, televised awards ceremonies.
  • Managing the network of websites and social media activity ensuring the networks online presence remains fresh and full of new and interesting content for the audience.
  • Involvement in ad-hoc marketing related work including reporting, analysis and budgeting.

Requirements:

  • A fresh and creative approach to marketing with emphasis on innovative ideas.
  • Exceptional communication skills with a keen eye for detail.
  • Business level written and spoken English skills.
  • Ideally someone with relevant experience gained within a marketing role.
  • Excellent working knowledge of Microsoft Office including Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
  • An interest in working at a leading television channel, however no previous experience in the television sector is required.
  • Good language skills in Hindi and a knowledge of Asian television and Bollywood movies is a distinct advantage but not required.

Traffic Assistant, International Channels

We are looking for a Traffic Assistant responsible for supporting the Traffic and Broadcast team at Sony Entertainment Network. You will report into the Head of Broadcast.

Responsibilities:

  • Meeting daily deadlines of downloading and sequencing traffics logs.
  • Supporting the Broadcast team by completing campaigns and release orders for input.
  • Working closely with the Sales team to fulfil reporting requirements.
  • Dealing with creation of sponsorship tags.
  • Daily up-keep of reports for campaigns.
  • Involvement in ad-hoc broadcast related work including reporting, analysis and budgeting.

Requirements:

  • A methodical attitude towards work and systems.
  • Good communication skills with good attention to detail.
  • Business level written and spoken English skills.
  • Ideally someone with experience within computing.
  • Excellent working knowledge of Microsoft Office including Word and Excel.
  • Knowledge of Landmark systems would be an advantage.
  • An interest in working at a leading television channel, however no previous experience in the television sector is required.
  • Good language skills in Hindi and a knowledge of Asian television is a distinct advantage but not required.
